Getting Started!

Eph. 6: 18 “And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.”

We experienced so much within this last week! Our friends Paul and Alyssa Clark, who have been serving with their family on this field for 4 1/2 years, headed back to the U.S. to pastor Lewiston First Naz (Lewiston, ID). We also had our first trip with the students to Mitad del Dundo, the park that celebrates the equator! We were supposed to go on a second trip with the students to Otavalo, but Matt experienced some mild dehydration and the Hopsters could not go (elevation is no joke). We also experienced a few firsts this week, as Matt is learning how to drive a manual transmission again (been a little while) and we had the students over at our apartment for the first time! We are really enjoying working with the NILI program and are so excited to be here!

We are always thankful for the amount of prayers and support we receive from all of you! Here are some ways you can pray specifically this week! Please pray for Matt to continue learning the language and driving; for Andréa to continue to be a support for the NILI program (students and director) and to keep connecting with the missionary families here on campus!

  1. Praying for you as you adjust to this new adventure in the Lord. Thank you for keeping us updated and letting us through live out vicariously what the Lord is doing there. Please continue to pray that things will open up for me to go to Romania.

  2. So grateful for updates! Praying for your every step forward as God unfolds great opportunities for ministry. 🙏🙏
    Love you guys! 🥰
